Today we may glorify the power of the youth in the nation building, but at the same time the media remind us that our youth are disoriented and confused. Hence, the value-based education is all the more required in the modern age where gadgets get changed every day and inter personal relationship is becoming shallower and shoddy. Hence the need for inclusion of values in the system of education has become a pertinent need of the hour.

Education must enable students to respond positively to the opportunities and challenges of the rapidly changing world in which they live and work. Though the heredity plays an important role in the formation of moral frame work of a person, the school environment also has a pertinent role in forming a morally and spiritually sound person. Our present system of education lacks value formation which is the need of the hour. Now it is very essential to concentrate on holistic approach of education so that all types of values may be inculcated in the learner group for their all round, harmonious development. St.Francis convent school takes extra efforts to inculcate value formation in our students and to encourage and empower our students to grow as strong, reflective and humble individuals with discerning minds.
