General Information

The Congregation of the school sisters of St.Francis of Assisi is founded by Mother Alexia Hoell, Mother Alfonse Schimd and Sister Clara Seiter in USA in1874. It is an international Franciscan Congregation. Our foundresses believed that ‘The needs of the time are the will of God”. In responding to this need we began our long history of service in education. Today sisters are serving the people through colleges, schools, orphanages, institutions for the physically challenged, Homes for the destitute, Hostels, Dispensaries and Rural development programmes. Our history started in India in 1975. At present in India we have 30 institutions. Saint Francis convent school, Budni is an upcoming English Medium School of high repute owned and managed by the society of the Sisters of St.Francis, Raisen, M.P. The Spirit and vision of our foundresses moves us on and has brought us to Budni. The school has founded in 2008 and now has reached up to class VIII. It is situated near Budni ghat, Court colony, Sehore District. The school is excelling in academics and co-curricular activities. It is a minority educational institution and is totally private, unaided and does not receive any grant-in-aid from any government.
